Did you hear that Bret Michaels is partaking in a new rendition of Flavor of Love for VH1? I hadn’t either…until this morning. Just last night I was commenting on his residual hotness- mind you I was essentially too young at the height of his popularity to have any appreciation for it, let alone to listen to any music that was even moderately outside of the PG rated genre…lets just say that if the video that corresponded wasn’t animated, I probably wasn’t interested. In any event, he’s miraculously single, apparently having had difficulty finding women capable of keeping up with his rock and roll lifestyle and accepting of his true love in life, performing…did I miss something or should said lifestyle have ended about the time that his career did…forever ago? Regardless, he’s chosen a surefire route to reputation suicide. Although I can practically guarantee that I’ll guiltily watch an episode or two and then forever deny it, he just fell an instant 9 notches on the hot scale…out of 10. Then again, since MacGyver was my first crush, maybe I’m in no position to be passing judgment on crushes that date back to my youth…or ever. In any event, we can relive his hotness one last time before his show, “Rock of Love” airs on July 15th thanks to the music video/montage of his finer moments and theme song for the show. In loving memory of his untarnished reputation, I'll shed a pseudo-tear.
