There are many wonderful things about parenthood. There's the obvious joy and satisfaction in shaping new life, furthering your lineage, and, naturally, the act of procreation. But there's also this simple fact: Babies are hilarious. They're like baked roommates you can dandle on your knee. My old housemate required Ren & Stimpy videos and a spent, crumpled dimebag to rattle his funny bone; all this racking-spasmed toddler needs is someone to activate the family Wii. The video's highlight is that last amused wheeze creaking helplessly from his body as he finds frighteningly amusing what most of us find frighteningly monotonous: golf, a game of skill and intense concentration. I hear the U.S. Open has already banned him for life.
